Our Impact

Community Engagement

During times of crisis and transition, it can be challenging for individuals and families to provide for even their most basic needs. HomeAid Orlando works to provide dignity and restore hope through various community outreach programs, including:

HomeAid Care Days

Through hands-on opportunities, volunteers come together to support the work of our network of community nonprofit partners. Volunteers work with HomeAid to assist with housing/shelter improvement projects such as landscape renewal, interior/exterior clean-up, painting and light construction work.

HomeAid Essentials

Through workplace donation drives and other efforts, we collect clothing, blankets, and other seasonal items. We then partner with community organizations across Central Florida to ensure these items reach those most in need.

HomeAid CareKits

Bringing together donors and volunteers, we collect and assemble travel-size toiletry items including soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant and more. These items are then thoughtfully packaged into CareKits and distributed to the most vulnerable homeless populations through a network of service agency partners.

For the fourth year in a row, HomeAid Orlando joined forces with our community of supporters to raise funds and collect diapers for local service agencies that support the most vulnerable families in need in Central Florida.

With 18 teams, HomeAid Orlando went above and beyond our 2024 goal of half a million diapers by raising 610,000. Thank you to everyone that supported the drive!
