Builders and Friends Breakfast 2024
This year’s Builders and Friends Breakfast was a huge success. Sponsored by Florida Paints and held at the beautiful Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club and Lodge, 120 people gathered to celebrate the 2023 achievements of HomeAid Orlando and to hear what’s happening in 2024. Russ Beymer, Executive Director of HAO, along with Board Members Brian Brunhofer and Dan Grieb, hosted the celebration and honored our Donor of the Year Landsea Homes, Volunteer of the Year Denise Klein of Able Trim and Door, and Difference Maker Stephanie Bowman, founder of One Heart for Women and Children. Brian was also honored for his years of support and guidance as the President of the Board, and gave the three Presidential Spirit Awards to Tricia Hazen of First American Title, Sophia Megaro of Florida Paints, and Kathleen Sturt of Richmond American Homes. Our Above and Beyond Award went to Mary Ashy of Elite Land Solutions. Receiving the Excellence in Action Award for participating in building and renovation projects were Hughes Brothers Construction, Spraggins, Inc., Bailey’s Cabinets, Blackton, Inc., Performance Roofing and Solar, Artistic Tile, and Mechanical One.
